Via Aristocratic EleganceSabre & Sheath. 19th Century, Turkey, Ottoman Empire. Iranian blade and steel, gold, diamonds, emeralds and pearls. The entire handle was skilfully crafted from a piece of solid jade. This is a ceremonial sword, used for an investiture ceremony. This sword is a perfect symbol of the luxury, extravagance and workmanship in the Ottoman Empire.
